Official annual snapshot / FY 2024–25
Where supply relationships become visible.
Bangladesh Bank's reported goods import payments, with the report's coverage adjustments. A dated starting point for supplier and market-entry research; this is not live trade data or foreign direct investment.
Compare all 25 country and economy snapshots
25 selected countries and economies with Mingdao guides. Values are USD million, displayed to the source's one-decimal precision.
Source: Bangladesh Bank, Annual Import Payments of Goods and Services 2024–25, Table 3.6, printed pages 1205–1207. These reported payments can differ from customs-recorded merchandise trade because of timing, valuation and coverage.
Important report notes: EPZ banking payments are assigned to individual countries from FY 2021–22; specified unclassified FDI-related goods are included by country; government-project and Rooppur project imports enter the country series from FY 2024–25. Coverage changes can affect comparisons, so no like-for-like growth claim is calculated here.
The comparison covers selected markets with guides, not every supplier country. Bars compare displayed values, not shares of Bangladesh's imports. Figures are not sales forecasts or investment returns; company metrics elsewhere can use different periods and measures.
Source checked 3 November 2026. Figures are a dated annual snapshot, not a live feed or a claim of the latest available observation. The PDF is a large official report; download on a suitable connection if needed.
NBR FY 2026–27 tariff: 11 June 2026 edition reference (later changes not reconciled) · 2026-07-01 to 2027-06-30
This is the published NBR edition reference, not a current payable-duty certificate. Later SROs, exemptions and product-specific permissions have not been reconciled. Some source columns contain amounts without a confirmed percentage basis; those are flagged instead of being presented as percentages.
Published percentages unless a specific duty is identified. TTI is not a simple sum.
CD: Customs Duty; SD: Supplementary Duty; VAT: Value Added Tax; AIT: Advance Income Tax; RD: Regulatory Duty; AT: Advance Tax; TTI: Total Tax Incidence as published.
These are reference rates, not a landed-cost quote. Valuation, specific duties, SROs, origin, exemptions and the importing regime can change the applicable treatment. No duty calculator is applied here.
Recorded imports. A clearer starting point.
All published import rows. Up to 24 month/regime observations are shown. IM4 commercial and IM7 bonded figures remain separate.
No published import observations match this selection. Missing observations mean unavailable data here, not zero imports.
Assessable value and invoice value are different measures. Net kg is not the number of products sold. These statements do not establish country-of-origin shares, domestic demand or investment returns. No missing month is filled with zero, and partial periods are not presented as annual totals.
