Start with the right questions.
Find practical answers about preparing an inquiry and discussing support with Mingdao Advisory.
Getting started
How do we begin?
Submit the contact form with your business activities, country, service of interest and a short description of your objectives.
Can we contact you before establishing in Bangladesh?
Yes. You can discuss research, strategy or establishment planning before creating a local operating presence.
What if we are unsure which service we need?
Select “I would like guidance” in the inquiry form. Describe your current position and the decision or work you need support with.
Scope and information
What should an initial brief include?
Include your intended activities, customers, project stage, operating needs and questions. Separate confirmed plans from assumptions.
Should we send confidential documents in the first inquiry?
Start with a brief description. The initial form does not accept attachments. Discuss the required documents and sharing arrangements separately.
Does submitting an inquiry start a paid engagement?
Submitting an inquiry alone does not establish an agreed service engagement. The scope and commercial arrangements are agreed separately.
Timing and fees
How are project timelines determined?
Timing depends on the work, information availability, responsibilities and external dependencies. Relevant assumptions should be documented in the proposal.
How are fees explained?
The proposal should distinguish professional fees from applicable government charges and third-party costs.
Is ongoing support available?
Recurring support can be discussed for accounting, administration, corporate records and other agreed operational requirements. See the relevant service page for the initial scope.
Foreign ownership in Bangladesh
Build a business you can fully own.
100% foreign ownership
Available in eligible sectors
100% foreign ownership is permitted in most sectors in Bangladesh. An eligible business can establish a wholly foreign-owned company without a local equity partner.
Eligibility depends on the business activity. Reserved or restricted activities, sector-specific ownership rules, licences and regulatory approvals must be checked before incorporation or investment.
Do I need a local shareholder?
For an activity eligible for wholly foreign-owned incorporation, a local equity partner is not generally required. The proposed activities and applicable sector rules must be reviewed first. Ownership eligibility does not replace company registration, operating licences or other required approvals.
